Special Deployments, Operation Crescendo (Part 1)

Situation

Background Information
In celebration of UNITAF's 2nd birthday, a special deployment in consisting of 2 3-hour ops is being held this week. -Deployment takes place in the Afghani Mountainside, on a small american-held FOB, FOB "Beagle", where UNITAF is to hold a presence patrol on the surrounding roads and deliver supplies to the elder in Mini-Al-Malak.

Friendly Forces
- 4x Humvee's - command humvee - AH-6M

Supporting Assets
ANA, which we hold a shaky alliance with, do not anger them any further, as the relations are already quite strained.

Enemy Forces
suspected insurgents in the Area are armed with handheld weapons, nonstandard Vehicles and IEDs.

Mission

Tasking
-presence patrol along the route to Mini-Al-Malak. -deliver supplies to village Elder. -respond to any taskings that might pop up.

End-state
Endex at FOB beagle after finishing the patrol.

Execution

Commander's Intent
The purpose of the mission is to clear the road of expected IED's, gaining intel from locals and nearby ANA and delivering supplies to the village elder in mini Al Malak.

Tasks and Sequencing
AS per the below image, we will embark in 4 Humvees until we reach the dismount marker were bishop 1 and 2 will split up, - Bishop 1 Will be clearing IED's on the MSR in the marked area - Bishop 2 will be crossing the stream and patrol the town to the north were enemy insurgents have been spotted. After the IEDs have been cleared the whole platoon will move to mini Al Mala to meet the village elder to deliver supplies, Bishop 1 and 2 will patrol around and pas the Mosk where the elder is located. After the patrol is finished we are expected to endex back at FOB Beagle
