Situation

Background Information
THE RUSSIANS HAVE FABRICATED A COUP ON THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF SAHRANI (DRS) AND OUSTED THE DEMOCRATICALLY ELECTED GOVERNMENT REPLACING IT WITH A PUPPET REGIME RUN BY THE MILITARY CALLED THE SAHRANI MILITARY JUNTA (SMJ), THEY HAVE DEPLOYED RUSSIAN PERSONNEL AND BALLISTIC MISSILES ON THE ISLAND IN A NEVER SEEN PRECEDENT SINCE THE CUBAN MISSILE CRISIS IN THE COLD WAR. THE US CANNOT STAND IDLY BY AS RUSSIA STATIONS BALLISTIC MISSILES THAT CAN REACH THE MAINLAND US, THE RUSSIANS HAVE IGNORED WARNINGS AND SANCTIONS AND ALL DIPLOMATIC CHANNELS HAVE FAILED. DUE TO THIS THE USMC WILL BE DEPLOYED OFF THE COAST OF SAHRANI BY A USN CARRIER STRIKE GROUP, TO PUT BOOTS ON THE GROUND AND TO FREE THE COUNTRY FROM THE TYRANNICAL GRIPS OF THE SAHRANI MILITARY JUNTA (SMJ) AND TO END THE IMMEDIATE THREAT THIS BRAZEN REGIME HAS BECOME TO THE US MAINLAND.

Mission

Tasking
The unit is tasked with infiltrating into the north western side of southern Sahrani, here they will need to find and plant charges on multiple AA positions while maintaining stealth. Before attacking a hotel where a high ranking officer is currently. It is imperative that we take him alive as he has the intel we need for the attack on the airfield and city.

End-state
All AA positions set with explosives and the officer captured

Execution

Commander's Intent
The purpose of this mission is to plant charges on enemy AA positions and to attempt to capture a HVT from a Hotel. Once the objectives are complete we are to ex-filtrate either by land or sea back to friendly forces.

Tasks and Sequencing
Infiltration will be via assault boats parachuting from a C17, Regrouping at RP 1 then pushing to the dismount point. Alpha 1-1 will be preparing charges on Objective B, D and E before attacking Objective F to capture the HVT Alpha 1-2 will be preparing charges on Objective A and C then pushing to OP-1 to recon Objective F then provide base of fire for 1-1 While placing demolitions on the AA positions it is imperative that stealth is maintained for as long as possible. After the HVT has been captured, the intent is to pull back to the SE towards allied lines with 1-2 providing base of fire until 1-1 has pushed past them. If we go loud or contact becomes overwhelming we will create an improvised ex-filtration plan. Alternate Exfil point is the Assault boats on the coast.
