Situation

Background Information
The Ottoman Empire laid claims on our island of Stratis. Queen Victoria sent her royal fleet to reclaim the island. All Ottoman camps, depots and coastal defenses must be destroyed and recaptured and to achieve total victory, the Ottoman Fleet at Agia Marina, must be sunk. Our ship has been hit and we must evacuate to the nearest land, to our dismay, its right next to the Ottoman defenses. NOTES: - Casualties to far gone, should be classed as KIA and will be brought up as reinforcements. - Some level of "expectations" have to be managed, AI is not build for line warfare. ROLE-SPECIFIC Leadership Roles: Responsible for organizing firing lines according to the highest leader present and relaying their orders down the line. Combat Medics : Will not have access to blood; however, they will be equipped predominantly with bandages and tourniquets to reduce blood loss. This is in line with era-appropriate technology. Casualties that are beyond help should be swiftly marked as deceased, and they will be dealt with by Game masters. Designated Marksman: Equipped with a rifle (instead of musket) capable of more accurate and faster rates of fire. May be used to fire independently of line formations if ordered to do so. No access to bayonet. Grenedier: Equipped with hand-held grenades, useful for engaging enemy defenses. Rifleman: Equipped with Musket and bayonet to be used in line formations (firing together) and charges.

Commander's Intent
Primary Objective: To seize control of Stratis from the Ottoman Empire following their recent invasion of the island. Secondary Objective: To utilize the element of surprise in our attack, after surviving the sinking of our ship: the HMS Greyhound. Tertiary Objective: To destroy as much of the enemy and their assets as possible (camps, fortresses, munitions, vessels, etc.).

Tasks and Sequencing
" From recovering on the beaches of southern stratis following the cowardly naval ambush of the ottoman empire, our party mixed of grenadier guards, marksmen and surgeons have a new goal: seize the island on foot and give them steel. Once we have recovered what supplies we can washed ashore from the sinking HMS Greyhound, we will reorganize our troops and conduct assaults northwards. Our final objective; Agia Marina and the Ottoman Guard Command there. Utilizing line formations and bayonet charges, our first target is the old English fortification of Camp Maxwell so that we may properly entrench our position, awaiting further troops and artillery to land. From there, we will conduct our greater assault towards the capital marina, deploying artillery, Gatling guns and explosive barrels to siege the ottoman defenses and take back this little island in the name of the empire.
