Situation

Background Information
14 September 1944 Peleliu Palau Islands Mariana and Palau Islands campaign are part of Operation Forager, that started with the Battle of Saipan in June 1944, and also include the Battle of Guam and Battle of Tinian. The Marines are now just hours away in the next step of the operation in the Mariana and Palau Islands. Tomorrow morning, the 1st Marines will land on the island of Peleliu - White Beach 1 and 2, while the 5th and 7th Marines will land on Orange Beach 1, 2, and 3. Their objective is to establish a beachhead, then push towards the airfield. Asset: LVTA2 - commander and gunner use .30 and .50 cal respectivly
