Situation

Background Information
After Operation Obsidian Key, recovered intelligence identifies an offshore ION logistics hub in South America believed to hold manifests, vehicles, contraband, and senior ION officers. By presidential authorization, the task force will enter the site, secure intelligence, attempt to capture high-ranking ION personnel, and then render the compound inoperable. Mission

Tasking
Following the coordinated missile strike, the Ranger squad will land on the compound, conduct deliberate clearance of surface structures and the underground bunker facility, recover and secure intelligence materials, prioritize capture of senior ION personnel, and execute denial tasks to prevent re-use. Please note: If you are experiencing bad FPS drop in the bunker - Lower your render distance

End-state
Squad extracts to the carrier with prioritized intelligence and any HVTs secured; compound and bunker rendered inoperable.


Execution

Commander's Intent
The purpose of this mission is capture a high ranking ION official, collect more intelligence on ION operations, and rig the compound with explosives.

Tasks and Sequencing
PHASE 1 After briefing has been held and load-outs adjusted, DAGGER 1 shall mount up in 2x Little birds. Whilst DAGGER 1 is taking off from aircraft carrier, cruise missiles will strike ION anti air capabilities and airbase. PHASE 2 DAGGER 1 will fly to LZ Guest and assault the ION Facility with haste. Once on the ground DAGGER 1-1 will take the lead followed by DAGGER 1-2 Both teams will move down to the south taking a dirt path into the compound upper sections hard clearing buildings. PHASE 3 Once the upper sections of the ION Facility has been cleared, DAGGER 1 will find and enter the tunnel entrance. Inside the underground section of the ION Facility, DAGGER 1 must move with utmost caution in order to minimize casualties. Whilst clearing PID for the high ranking ION officials, look for intelligence documents, and DAGGER 1-1 combat engineer will place charges along the path.

Resupply
ALL CALLSIGNS will cross the LD fully loaded according to the units SOP. These supplies will come from the staging area. This basic load is expected to sustain the team throughout the mission.
