Situation

Background Information
Following the success of the Castle Zub raid and the intel gathered there, CDF has asked MARSOC to capture the regional leader of ChDKZ forces, Anton Ivanovich Baranov. The CDF in the area are focused on providing security for Ilya Durov, Special Envoy from the Ministry of Defense, who is visiting the Khalida to oversee the investigations into the incident. However, intel suggests Baranov will only be in this location for one night and therefore the raid must be executed simultaneously. Command has chosen not to expose CSAT's involvement in ChDKZ publicly to avoid further escalation in the region. ChDKZ continues to field primarily soviet-era weaponry, though there is a significant possibility of near-peer CSAT operators present.

Mission

Tasking
Capture Anton Ivanovich Baranov and exfil to JB Keith.

End-state
Whether successful or not, RAVEN will exfil to JB Keith via helicopter.

Execution

Commander's Intent
The purpose of the mission is to capture Anton Ivanovich Baranov (ALIVE) and escort him safely back to Joint Base Kenith while sustaining minimal casualties

Tasks and Sequencing
RAVEN 1 will infil via helicopter to LZ Dingo where the squad will move on foot to OP Lion to recce the target compound. RAVEN 1-2 will move along Route Giraffe and estabilish BOF Tiger. Once the BOF is establish RAVEN 1-1 will assault the target from the north. When RAVEN 1-1 makes entry into Objective Alpha RAVEN 1-2 will shift their BOF to the East side of the Objective to establish security to the East, as that is our most exposed arc. Once the Objective is cleared and the HVT is secured, RAVEN 1 will move to LZ Coyote unless we have sustained large casualties, in which case RAVEN 1 will move to a new LZ that will be decided on the ground. RAVEN 1 will recieve additional tasking on the exfil helicopter.
