Mission
Execution
Commander's IntentThe intent of this mission is to hinder the enemies ability to reinforce sectors in the North, by neutralising bridge crossings leading between the frontline and support bases, as well as establishing the enemies intent by extracting an East German defector out of the region and collecting data from within Rosche proper.
Tasks and Sequencing
PHASE 0: (Preparation) All callsigns shall organize their gear and rendezvous at RP-0 for operational briefing. Upon conclusion of the briefing, Alpha shall begin moving on foot Eastward through the woodland to meet the militia contact for further operational intelligence. PHASE 1: After meeting the militia contact, Alpha will move South following the Wipperau river and will plant two explosive charges on a timed detonation of 15 minutes on each of the priority targets. This will require speed and precision as loitering in the area will likely draw unwanted attention and potentially compromise the mission early. Once this tasking has been completed, Alpha will continue South towards Rosche, changing into discrete clothing along the way so as not to draw attention inside the town. An interpreter will be present to act as the primary communique should contact be made with third parties along the way. PHASE 2: This phase will require extreme prejudice from all operators and Alpha will need to be able to adapt to highly dynamic situations. Read the "considerations" section at the bottom of the OPORD for further details on emission control. Once Alpha reaches the designated rally point at Rosche, operational tasking shall be the following: 1) Obtain the black box data from a downed US attack helicopter. 2) Plant a telephone wiretap at the nearby Soviet command post near the centre of Rosche. 3) Meet the East German defector at the pub near the centre of Rosche and extract him from the city. Achieving these goals shall greatly influence future operations for the attacking American forces. PHASE 3: Upon completion of tasking inside Rosche, Alpha must exfiltrate Eastwards along the marked route, so as to avoid Soviet checkpoints and military police stops. The marked route leads to a safehouse in Stutensen where Alpha shall be debriefed. MISSION FAILURE: In the event of mass casualty incidents, including the loss of leadership and objective failure, all operators should attempt to extract from the area of operations either by: 1) Returning to friendly lines/positions 2) Reaching the safehouse rendezvous point
Administration/Logistics
