--- OPERATIONS ORDER ---
Situation
Background InformationElements of US Army are currently station at Fire Support Base Quan Loi, a riverside outpost upriver from the Mekong Delta. Following the destruction of coastal guns in previous weeks regular air sorties have recommenced in the region. Unfortunately while returning from a sortie in the Khe Sanh region an F4 Phantom callsign Phantom was shot down. Alongside this recent intelligence reports are suggesting that VC assets are positioning to assault the ARVN FOB of A Loui.

Mission
TaskingThe units first tasking is to secure the 2 pilots of PHANTOM whose plane was last seen as it crashed near OBJ: Lockhart and extracting them via helo at the FOB OBJ: Alloy. Once at this location you are tasked with supporting the small ARVN garrison in defending from any potential assault.
End-state
On mission completion, the friendly force will have safely extracted both pilots and successfully defended OBJ: Alloy. In the event that one or both pilots cannot be extracted alive their bodies are to be placed in a secure location and their positions recorded to be collected by follow on elements. If the situation in OBJ: Alloy is to deteriorate beyond the capabilities of the unit FSB Berchtesgaden will act as a fall back location.

Commander's IntentIntent is to rescue the pilots as well as assist in the defence at the FOB
Tasks and Sequencing
PHASE 0 ALL CALLSIGNS will prepare full combat load and get ready for brief NOTE: Combat Engineer should bring 4 demolition charges, rest of space should be for trip wires and mines PHASE 1 TANGO will move to OBJ-Lockhart along Route Blue and Route Purple and keep eyes out for any signs for our pilots. Upon locating the pilots, or a sign of them, we will move to rescue them. In the case that we were too late, we will bring the bodies back. Once we have the pilots, we will attempt to break contact, fall back along Route Purple and start movement towards OBJ: Alloy along Route Red where the pilots will get airlifted to a field hospital. PHASE 2 Upon arrival at OBJ: Alloy TANGO will quickly resupply and set up defensive positions TANGO 1 will set up a CCP in the central bunker, as well as set up mines near the tall grass. TANGO 1-1 will set up facing north TANGO 1-2 will set up facing west
Administration/Logistics
ResupplyALL CALLSIGNS will cross the LD fully loaded according to the units SOP. These supplies will come from the staging area. This basic load is expected to sustain the team until reaching OBJ: ALLOY. LOGPAK available at OBJ: ALLOY

Medical support will be conducted in field (PAK in Field)
