Situation
Background InformationThe Russian backed coup has put a stop to shipping through the Red Sea. The UK, US and Italy have deployed forces into the region to take back key infrastructure and help the loyalist forces take back control. Supporting Assets
Friendly forces have managed to push the enemy to the north of the river. 2nd and 3rd Air Assault Platoons have opened the front and are pushing towards the enemy airfield and engaging the enemies in the open fields.
Enemy Forces
The Islamic Liberation Army of Sudan has occupied many positions in the area with forces massed around towns and key infrastructure. Previous raids have disabled their long-range anti-air capabilities. Brigade HQ reports the enemy has a limited amount of MANPAD assets available, main threat to air assets is small arms and RPGs.
Mission
TaskingCross the river and clear the area around Geydam-Tchoukou. Repel any enemy advances pushing the eastern flank.
End-state
The platoon is to establish as a screening force North of the river on mission completion.
Execution
Commander's IntentThe purpose of this mission is to push the frontline forward and establish a FOB in the town of Geydan- Tchoukou
Tasks and Sequencing
PHASE 0 All elements will prepare for verbal brief 5 min after start exVehicles already come with a light resupply in them teams should not put any in it unless approved by HQ This to provide the logistical element something to do as wel. Convoy order PANTHER 1 PANTHER 3 PANTHER 9 OZONE 4 ROOKIE 4-1 PANTHER 2 Convoy net will be Freq 65 The convoy command will be PANTHER 8 PHASE 1 Convoy will role out following attack plan Bravo route. Dismount Alphais our primary dismount Dismount Bravo will be our secondary. dismount. Maneuver scheme PANTHER 1 will take the left flank PANTHER 2 will take the right flank PANTHER 3 will take the main road together with 9 and their vehicle All elements will do a platoon line moving forward where each element can see the other element team member. to avoid any gaps the enemy might flank us. OZONE 4 ROOKIE 4-1 Will follow the platoon line from a save distance But not too far to be caught by possible enemy response. Once reached the town of Masakali PANTHER 3 Will be holding the Main MSR But their main job is to provide Full AT cover to protect the other 2 squads. PANTHER 1 andPANTHER 2 Will secure their respective sides and clear the town. Once Area has been secured a infantry rearm and vehicle rearm wil be organized before moving to the next objective. OZONE 4 and ROOKIE 4-1 setup a CCP and infantry and vehicle resupply location on LRP Zulu once area is secure enough. PHASE 2 All elements will form op the convoy as per convoy order and We will move out following the orange line towards Dismount Charlie if not contact or Dismount Delta if in contact Depending on contact we will devise a plan at the spot. if no contact be had on the crossing point we will continue to Dismount Echo or Dismount Foxtrot PHASE 3 Upon entering the town PANTHER 1 will take the left side of the main MSR and clear it using their vehicle to cover the ASR PANTHER 2 will take the Right side of the main MSR and clear it using their vehicle to cover the ASR PANTHER 3 Will follow in the town if possible to provide Security against the QRF to the North and North East And be ready to engage enemy armor form the west reinforcement route if needed. Preference would be not to far from the town to stay in support of PANTHER 2 incase of required support. OZONE 4 Will prepare a Vehicle resupply point in the town and once the area is secure enough start building a FOB With priority to make a planned CCP with help from ROOKIE 4-1 . and next provide a secure vehicle resupply point. while providing resupply options for infantry as wel. PHASE 4 Depending on progress We will push towards Objective 3 and 4 But our primary tasking will be Objective 1 and 2. And have a FOB Any plans will be done in mission
Administration/Logistics
ResupplyOZONE 4 Resupply needs: At least 2x full platoon resupply 4 x Resupply for the PANTHER 3 Medium AT they are our only real defense against enemy Vehicles. Construction materials for CCP and FOB defense material Vehicle rearm ,refuel and repair capability. Try to minimize the amount of vehicles to not make the convoy to long. Element need to be ready to follow the convoy in order out of the base and objective 1
Medical
ROOKIE 4-1 Has acces too 2x Medivac vehicle with 4 slots each. Main things to keep in mind for this mission - Create a Safe CCP - No treating in the frontline pick the wounded up and move them to a CCP. and transport back if needed. - Incase of not safe area move on foot
