The Soviet Union never fell and maintained a strong grip on its satellite states. Conflict ignited as Soviet forces crossed into West Germany, triggering a NATO response. NATO counterattacks have slowed their advance and stabilized the front West German forces have now successfully counterattacked deep into the territory of East Germany, however our frontline is overstretched and vulnerable. We're now advancing north to straighten the frontline and consolidate positions before Soviet forces can regroup. We are continuing our advance towards the airport. BULL 1-3 SPz 1A2 Marder

1 x Mechanized squad, callsign Guard 1, tasked with suppressing east side of Rostok.

Enemy Forces
Most East German heavy armour in the area was disabled during the initial push east. Remaining forces consist primarily of infantry supported by a mix of armed and unarmed APCs.

Rostok cleared and aiport under control In the case of failure to capture aiport, FOX 1 must ensure Rostok is held


Execution

Commander's Intent
The intent for this mission is to secure the Airport and the surrounding towns, ensuring that Soviet Forces are pushing out of this region.

Tasks and Sequencing
Phase 1: a) FOX will be driven by BULL 1-3 to sectors 1a & 1b, where FOX will dismount and clear both sectors. b) Once Sectors 1a & 1b are clear, FOX 1-1 will push into Sector 2a whilst FOX 1-2 push and clear Sector 2b. c) Once sectors 2a & 2b are clear, FOX 1-1 & FOX 1-2 will push in parallel through the town, communicating throughout while ensuring that teams are within a supporting distance of one another. d) Once the town is secure, friendly forces will push in from the south east and hold the roads to the north to ensure we do not get flanked. Note: BULL 1-3 are to support FOX throughout the clearance of the town, they will be available upon request. Phase 2: a) Once Sector 8a is clear, FOX will proceed south to Obj Vodka. Both FOX 1-1 & FOX 1-2 will hit the objective simultaneously with FOX 1-1 taking the northern edge and FOX 1-2 pushing into the centre of the objective. Phase 3: a) Once Obj Vodka is secure, FOX 1-1 & FOX 1-2 will move via there designated routes and begin the assault on Obj Rumt. b) FOX 1-2 will initially clear the eastern end, before pushing west and supporting FOX 1-1 as they clear out this end of Obj Rum. Phase 4: a) Once Obj Rum is secured, FOX will move via BULL 1-3 towards sector 9a before dismounting in the treeline to the south. b) FOX 1-1 will immediately push into Sector 9a and begin clearing, meanwhile FOX 1-2 will push to Sector 9b and secure this sector. c) FOX 1-1 & FOX 1-2 will then push west, clearing sectors in parallel through the village, communicating throughout and ensuring mutual support. Phase 5: a) This area will be cleared depending on time in-game, we will plan this on the ground if its required.


Administration/Logistics

Resupply
ALL CALLSIGNS will cross the LD fully loaded according to the units SOP. These supplies will come from the staging area. This basic load is expected to sustain the team throughout the mission. Emergency resupply and LOGPAKs will be coordinated through FOX 1 and delivered by GROUND by CALLSIGN Crossroad 4-1
