Situation

Background Information
Enemy forces under Taliban commander Sadat Kusan have fortified a compound in a remote valley in the southern province. Kusan is responsible for a recent surge in cross-border attacks and the execution of a local police chief. Intelligence confirms his presence at the target site within the next 72 hours. A joint ISR package has identified defensive positions, routine patterns, and several HVTs on-site. Using all available intel, a mock up of the compound has been prepared at SOF HQ. DAGGER 1-1: An SF Team acting as the assaulting force. GUARDIAN 1-3 A Sniper Team acting as overwatch. CHECKMATE 5 An MH-6 Little Bird acting as Transport and overwatch.

Supporting Assets
Ranger platoon on standby for QRF.

Enemy Forces
Taliban insurgents, variety of small arms and technical vehicles. They will most likely defend the compound with neighbouring forces coming in to support if assault goes loud.

Callsign DAGGER 1-1 will train for, then conduct a deliberate assault on the compound to capture or kill Sadat Kusan, disrupt Taliban leadership in the AO, and gather intel for follow-on operations.

Kusan neutralized/captured, compound cleared, no friendly KIA/WIA.
