Situation

Background Information
Following the successful invasion of the south eastern region of fapova. SPEAR 1 are tasked with securing the airfield and training facility on the island to the east. We expect the enemy to be dug in and ready for a fight. Be prepared for a tough and bloody fight. It is imperative that we capture the infrastructure and facilities intact to assist with further operations within the region. Friendly forces set up within Ivanograd Airbase- Below assets are available at the request of the FL and marked by red smoke. (NB damage to infrastructure should be preserved where possible. - Naval arty

Enemy Forces
- The enemy is made up of infantry with dug-in and fortified locations. - A variety of light vehicles have been spotted in the AO - Enemy air support has been eliminated. - Possible mortar locations in the objective. - The enemy has modern body armour.


Mission

Tasking
SPEAR 1 is tasked to rapidly secure the airfield at OBJ-Apple. Following this, eliminate all remaining enemy forces within OBJ-Orange and OBJ-Carrot

End-state
Elimination of all enemies within the 3 objectives.


Execution

Commander's Intent
The intent is to secure the island and cause as little structural damage to the airport and training facilities as possible.

Tasks and Sequencing
PHASE 0 ALL CALLSIGNS check and prepare equipment prior to execution. PHASE 1 ALL CALLSIGNS will mount RHIBs and step off toward DP-Zulu, then move along the coast to WP-1, where the Squad Element will hold BOF-S1. SPEAR 1-1 and SPEAR 1-2 will proceed along the marked lines to AP-1, and wait for the Squad Leader's signal before executing. SPEAR 1-1 and SPEAR 1-2 will enter Sector R-1 with support from BOF-S1 and secure the airfield. Once the airfield and accompanying dock have been secured, ALL CALLSIGNS will regroup at WP-2 marker. PHASE 2 ALL CALLSIGNS will proceed along the marked lines from WP-2 toward AP-2. Squad Element will break off and set up at BOF-S2 until performance degrades as both elements clear through the sector, then break BOF-S2 and regroup with the assault teams. SPEAR 1-1 and SPEAR 1-2 will proceed through Sectors R-2 through R-6, coordinating with one another to capture Objective Orange and Objective Carrot. Once all sectors have been captured, ALL CALLSIGNS must regroup at Objective Carrot.


Administration/Logistics

Resupply
Resupply of ammunition and equipment will be procured on-site. After the airfield has been secured, LOGPAKs will be available as coordinated by the Squad Leader via frequency 87.

Naval and aerial armaments will be available via frequency 87 and red smoke designation.
