Taliban leaders recently announced that they have taken leadership of Candaldari, and with that overnight forces from surrounding areas have swarmed the city. Embassy forces pulled back to the airfield to secure their VIPs with our greater numbers. Armored vehicles have come into the region through middle eastern militias sponsored by neighboring countries meaning Soviet era armour has arrived on the scene. A overzealous 2nd Lieutenant oversaw the extract from the Embassy leaving some assets and secure data we will need to burn. Bring incendiaries.
