Situation

Background Information
An American Carrier taskforce has been sent onto the med to support allied efforts against the Germans and Italians. Our objective is to strike multiple land/port based targets and disrupt their efforts in the region. NOTE: This orbat is an exemption to the usual rule due to the rarity in mission type and therefore slots

Friendly Forces
Carrier Based Air Group - 9 SBDs

Supporting Assets
- Italian naval vessels - Land based German forces. - Possible Luftwaffe air support

Enemy Forces
Perform bombing runs on several key objectives in the AO to disrupt the enemy war effort; - Sink the enemy naval group in port - Bomb several ports and army bases

Mission

Tasking
Perform bombing runs on several key objectives in the AO to disrupt the enemy war effort; - Sink the enemy naval group in port - Bomb several ports and army bases - Bomb several factories producing ammunition - Perform a bombing raid on the enemy airfield deep in enemy territory

End-state
Objectives destroyed, air group back at carrier.

Execution

Commander's Intent
Friendly air groups will be coordinated by their flight leaders in squadrens of 4. Objectives will have us disrupt Axis operations in the area. Our specific tasking will be determined and briefed in operation.

Tasks and Sequencing
This is a carrier based operation. All pilots are recommended to not only familiarise themselves with the aircraf, SBD DIVE BOMBER. But also practice carrier landings on the Nimitz prior to the operation. We will have waves of air assaults until our objectives are completed or the enemy air presence gets too high.

Administration/Logistics

Resupply
Resupply, Rearm and repair of aircrafts will be coneucted on the carrier.

Medical
If you go down in the ocean ping zeuses for "naval forces to collect you" If you go down over enemy territory aim to exfil to the south coast. But DO NOT approach the coastal cities as these are Axis strongholds.
