Situation

Background Information
At 04:50 the evacuation order has been given for the Pita Airbase. The evacuation proceeded as planed, all aircraft and most of the essential material has arrived by 16:30 but the last two convoys have never arrived and all communication has been lost. Command has send a squad of Fusiliers to drive to the airbase and figure out why nobody is responding.

About a platoon's worth of airmen stationed on the airfield and guards.

Execution

Commander's Intent
The purpose of this operation is to investigate a communication failure with the Pita airbase following an order to evacuate and ascertain the status of two missing outbound evacuation convoys.

Tasks and Sequencing
PHASE 0: Preparation - ALL CALLSIGNS ensure adequate supplies loaded into integrated squad vehicles to last the duration of the mission. -- Any additional need for supplies or load bearing should be communicated through BAKER 1. - Post-brief, ALL CALLSIGNS rally on RP-A. PHASE 1: Movement - ALL CALLSIGNS proceed to RP-B via RP-A. - Convoy Order: -- BAKER 1-3 -- BAKER 1 PHASE 2: Area Recon - ALL CALLSIGNS conduct a visual sweep of Masbete, searching for signs of lost convoys. -- ALL CALLSIGNS remain mounted to avoid inciting unrest with a volatile civilian population. - Any cause for investigation of Masbete should be reported to BAKER 1. -- Upon an all clear determination, ALL CALLSIGNS proceed to airbase. PHASE 3: Movement - ALL CALLSIGNS proceed to RP-D via RP-C. - Convoy Order: -- BAKER 1-3 -- BAKER 1 - ALL CALLSIGNS dismount on RP-C and proceed into airbase. PHASE 4: Airbase - ALL CALLSIGNS investigate airbase facilities for BLUFOR personnel and intelligence. - Priority information: -- Status of stationed BLUFOR platoon -- Cause of communication blackout -- Location and status of two evacuation convoys All civilians must be extracted prior to crossing PL-2 PHASE 5: Further Investigation (optional) - Utilizing intelligence gathered in phase 5, ALL CALLSIGNS proceed to a further point of interest: -- RACS Naval Base -- Evacuated town of Pita - Priority information: -- Status of stationed BLUFOR platoon -- Cause of communication blackout -- Location and status of two evacuation convoys -With all priority information gathered, regroup and ENDEX at airbase.


Administration/Logistics

Resupply
External logistic support will be unavailable for the duration of this operation. ALL CALLSIGNS are to load all supplies required for the duration of the operation in the squad vehicle, BAKER 1-3. Support Engineer will conduct vehicle repair, rearm and resupply through the integrated squad HQ logistics vehicle.

Medical support will be conducted in field (PAK in Field)
