--- OPERATIONS ORDER ---
Situation
Background InformationSituation Camp Carter is a remote outpost that has seen an increase in insurgent activity in the Rayak province since a drone strike resulted in significant civilian casualties. This has been characterized by occasional light attacks on the Camp and an increased presence of IEDs in the area. The indiscriminate placement of IEDs in civilian areas has claimed several civilian lives and has caused public opinion to sway against the insurgents. [callsign] has been rotated to Camp Carter following a masscas event rendering the previous element ineffective. Crossroads believes the insurgent threat is locally based and has made locating the IED factory top priority in order to reduce BLUFOR and civilian casualties – and to help restore good relations with the local populace.
