Situation
Background InformationThree star rating: ☆little to none expected ☆☆decent amount expected ☆☆☆Heavy emphasis / main focus of Operation Expected Level of Combat : ☆☆ Expected Level of RP: ☆ Expected Difficulty: ☆☆ GM notes: This Operation focuses on Futuristic Warfare with Armed Drones and Eletronic Warfare/Jamming (CROWS EW Mod) Briefing: Multiple reports of highly sophisticated, autonomous weapons have surfaced during NATO peacekeeping missions near Sefrou-Ramal. While the destination is as yet unknown, intelligence uncovered a lead to their origin. Heavy industries firm SenTech Inc. has been implicated through obfuscated patents and underreported shipping manifests of parts to moonlight as a weapons manufacturer. SenTech CEO James Blackwood has openly denied allegations. His residence in Paraiso, however, following the investigation is barricaded and patrolled by an unidentified private military company. SenTech research facilities in Paraiso have closed doors to any private or military investigators. Latest reconnaissance shows further amassing of armed troops and materiel at the Paraiso airfield, the city itself acting as a buffer between it and nearby SenTech facilities. The death of NATO troops by these autonomous drones has led to an armed escalation and a raid of SenTech facilities to apprehend Blackwood. Players who have the Contact DLC can equip and use the Spectrum Device with the jammer attachment to disable enemy autonomous vehicles, making them unable to move and fire

Tasks and Sequencing
PHASE 0 ALL CALLSIGNS prepare aboard the USS Freedom (CVN-83) for Blackfish insertion via WHISKEY 4 & Griffin 5. A flight of Wild Weasel F/A-181 aircraft take off to conduct SEAD / DEAD of the S-500 air-defence sites. VICTOR drones are loaded into an additional V-44X cargo-variant Blackfish for the initial insertion via Griffin to LZ Alpha. PHASE 1
Dismount:
SIERRA 1 secures the west of the LZ.
SIERRA 2 secures the north of the LZ and prepares an immediate advance to their BOF.
SIERRA 3 secures the east of the LZ.
Griffin immediately RTB, switching to the AV-44X variant to establish for CAS from the overhead.
SIERRA platoon conducts an assault on the airbase from the south.
Rapid, short bounding manoeuvres are paramount to exploit the element of surprise.
VICTOR drones advance with each squad to provide high-volume covering fire.
AP 1: SIERRA 1 breaches the west perimeter in Sector 1A to clear the left flank and establish a base of fire north and east, advancing into 1B only as required.
AP 2: SIERRA 2 breaches the main entrance into 2A, coordinating with SIERRA 1 and 3 to clear 2B as soon as possible with flank support.
AP 3: SIERRA 3 breaches on the east flank to clear the immediate site at 3A and 3B as required, then pivots to seize the FACILITY.
VICTOR drones advance along sectors 1 & 2 as able, while providing perimeter security outside the airbase.
Once B-sectors are cleared, SIERRA 1 & 2 advance into C-sectors and prepare a pivot east along the runway and hangars.
As timing permits, SIERRA 3 supports the clearing of the airbase with a pincer manoeuvre from the east, following a secure facility with all intel recovered.
Recovering intel is the primary objective throughout.
Individual squad members must pick up and relay intel as soon as able.
Hardware too large to recover by hand must be prepared for pick-up by Whiskey or detonated.
Once the airbase is secure, combat engineers rig the SAM launchers for demolition.
WHISKEY provides a LOGPAK at LRP-A.
PHASE 2
Sierra platoon advances to the WP and OP east of the airbase.
SIERRA 1 and 2 engineers rig a breach point each marked on the walled edge of the residence compound.
SIERRA 1 and 2 hook in and clear the residence.
SIERRA 3 moves via WP X to establish a BOF along the street towards SenTech HQ.
QRF can be expected from either of the southern roads leading uphill to SenTech HQ.
QRF must be decisively engaged and driven off before orientating towards the HQ.
PHASE 3
SIERRA 3 engineers rig a further breach point on the northern walled edge of Sentech HQ, between the towers.
SIERRA 3 enters and clears the HQ building.
SIERRA 1 flanks west.
SIERRA 2 flanks east.
Sierra takes all measures to apprehend CEO Blackwood. His death must be avoided.
Administration/Logistics
ResupplyAll GCE teams embark WHISKEY Blackfish fully loaded and sustained through all of phase 1. Resupplies following a secure airbase are available via air drop and designated LRP, as coordinated by SIERRA 8. LRP-A: Airfield main compound, near terminal and tower. LRP-B: CEO James Blackwood residence compound WHISKEY 4 additional tasking: recovery of all autonomous systems when safe and secured to be airlifted to Rahmadi Airbase.
