Mission
TaskingThe unit is tasked with assaulting and securing the village of Gliniska and Łuków Airbase. They must disrupt enemy operations, prevent reinforcements, and establish defensive positions to prepare for potential counterattacks. Their mission includes conducting coordinated attacks, minimizing collateral damage, and ensuring the airbase and village are fully under friendly control.
End-state
The desired end-state is for friendly forces to have full control of both Łuków Airbase and the village of Gliniska, with enemy forces in the area either neutralized or forced to withdraw. Defensive positions should be established to prepare for potential counterattacks, securing the area for future operations. In the event of mission failure, the friendly forces should regroup, withdraw to a defensible position, and prevent further enemy advancement while maintaining enough strength to defend key positions and avoid total loss of territory.
Execution
Commander's IntentPurpose: To seize control of Łuków Airbase and Gliniska to further disrupt enemy operations and enable the full liberation of Polish land. Key Tasks: - Conduct a coordinated and rapid attack on the airfield and its defences to disrupt and prevent enemy reinforcement and counterattack. - Maintain momentum to transition swiftly from capturing the airfield to assaulting and securing the nearby town. - Minimize collateral damage to preserve infrastructure and maintain local support. - Establish defensive positions phasing north to prepare for potential counterattacks. End State: Łuków Airbase and Gliniska are both securely under friendly control and enemy forces in the area are neutralized or have withdrawn.
