--- OPERATIONS ORDER ---
Situation
Background InformationFOLLOWING A RUSSIAN-AIDED COUNTERATTACK ON SVETLOYARSK PORT, THE US ARMY RANGERS ARE TASKED WITH LAUNCHING AN EASTERN OFFENSIVE TO CLEAR OUT THE FINAL CHERNARUSSIAN FORCES, REPEL THE RUSSIAN CONSPIRATORS AND CLAIM THE REGION FOR GOOD. AN AC-130U GUNSHIP HAS BEEN TASKED TO AID THE US ARMY RANGERS IN LOCATING AN ELIMINATING ALL REMAINING RESISTANCE.
Friendly Forces
- US ARMY RANGER INFANTRY PLATOON, CALLSIGN ROMEO, AUGMENTED WITH ENHANCED AT CAPABILITIES. - AIRBORNE SF ATTACHMENT, CALLSIGN SIERRA. - AC-130U GUNSHIP, CALLSIGN PHANTOM.
Supporting Assets
THE ESTONIAN ARMED FORCES ARE CONOSOLIDATING CAPTURED VEHICLES AND EQUIPMENT ON THE RECENTLY CLAIMED SOUTHERN FRONT IN THE PREVIOUS LEGS OF THIS COUNTER OFFENSIVE. THEY WILL NOT BE ACCOPANYING THE US ARMY RANGERS ON THIS OPERATION.
Enemy Forces
THE CHERNARUSSIAN MOVEMENT OF THE RED STAR (CHDKZ) FORCES ARE A STATE-BACKED PARAMILITARY AND AS SUCH, HAVE ACCESS TO A MODERN ARRAY OF RUSSIAN EQUIPMENT. AS THE FRONT LINE COLLAPSES ON THE CHDKZ, WE HAVE SEEN A DEGREDATION OF ORGANIZATION AND EMPLOYED TACTICS. THE SMALL BUT ESTABLISHED PRESENCE OF CONVENTIONAL RUSSIAN FORCES HAS BEEN CONFIRMED WITHIN SVETLOYARSK AND ITS PORTS. RUSSIANS HAVE INITIATED CONTACT WITH US ARMY RANGERS DURING THEIR COUNTER OFFENSIVE, AND ARE BEING CONSIDERED HOSTILE UNTIL SURRENDER OR RETREAT.
Mission
TaskingRomeo platoon, alongside an SF attachment , "Sierra", is tasked with eliminating all remaining resistance from the AO and dealing the final blow to Svetloyarsk, reclaiming the lost port and surrounding territory. To support the western advance, callsign Sierra has been tasked with eliminating key strategic emplacements setup by the Russian conspirators north of Svetloyarsk.
End-state
1. ALL CHERNARUSSIAN AND RUSSIAN FORCES ELIMINATED FROM THE AO 2. SVETLOYARSK AND SURROUNDING TERRITORY RECLAIMED 3. CHERNARUS SECURED, OPERATION LEBRA COMPLETE
Execution
Commander's IntentMy intent is to decisively engage the struggling remainder of the Chernarussian Red Star Forces to drive them out of the AO, with no hesitation to engage Russian Armed Forces conducting the CHDKZ withdrawal following their hostile actions on US personnel. We must ensure good communication and sequencing with SIERRA detachment to converge on Svetloyarsk as we each complete our objectives necessary for successful end-states.
Tasks and Sequencing
PHASE 0 ALL CALLSIGNS prepare to embark their respective means of transport. SIERRA must ensure adequate equipment for a HALO jump behind enemy lines. SIERRA sequencing and movement will be updated closer to step-off. PHANTOM takes off following Sierra's transport to establish a high and south-offset orbit around OBJ ALPHA, ensuring min. 1.5 km stand-off from suspected AA around Svetloyarsk. The line of departure marks the intent to engage CHDKZ forces with decisive action. The ROMEO dismount point is approx. 1 km from the LD, requiring all elements to be combat-ready and ROE weapons orange. PHASE 1 ROMEO dismounts west of Krasnostav, "OBJ Alpha", to assault it longitudinally eastwards. Sector K1 serves as the initial assault point to gain a foothold. Concluding K1, squads generally follow designated sectors either side of the road as the dividing line of responsibility. Odd-numbered sectors are on the right-hand side of our line of advance. Even-numbered sectors are on the left-hand side of our line of advance. ROMEO 1 clears odd-numbered K sectors. ROMEO 2 clears even-numbered K sectors. Mutual support must be maintained throughout. Emphasise MOUT principles and ensure line of sight by bounding compounds squad-wise. With friendly positions established in sectors K10 and K11, RP Huxley is provisioned as a first resupply point as required. Leaders must ensure timely reports to make use of it prior to phase 2.
PHASE 2
The airbase near Krasnostav, "OBJ Bravo", was previously destroyed by airstrike, cratering the runway. No fixed-wing threats are expected from this airbase.
CHDKZ forces have moved back in to conduct limited rotary-wing operations and use it as a C2 post.
ROMEO crosses PL1 likely from sector K11 into sector A1.
Due to the destruction of the airport assets, concrete sequencing follows aerial reconnaissance pending an OPORD update and decisions on the ground.
RP ADRIAN is provisioned for resupplies.
PHASE 2
The village of Olsha, "OBJ CHARLIE", is an unconfirmed buffer garrison overlooking the port.
Contact is expected light.
Clearing the settlement follows established MOUT principles and the odd- and even-numbered sectors as before.
Assignment will be flexible pending needs in the field.
RP Marlin is provisioned final resupply before converging on Svetloyarsk with Sierra.
PHASE 3
ROMEO crosses PL 3 via sector O5 into sector S1, a petrol station.
Overhead support from Phantom ensures movement with fire.
Alternative Romeo ingress is via a wooded area into sector S3.
Romeo platoon clears Svetloyarsk, "OBJ DELTA", west-to-east sector by sector.
Initial movement sequences S1 through S13 in a bounding fashion.
Romeo then pivots north via S12-S14. Final manoeuvres are predicated on Sierra actions.
The expected final objective is the harbour terminal, where Russian amphibious forces aid the extraction of CHDKZ personnel and equipment.
Administration/Logistics
ResupplyALL CALLSIGNS cross the LD fully loaded and self-sustained for at least one phase. Resupplies are provisioned for pre-marked rally points in each phase, fulfilled only upon request. SIERRA must ensure sufficient equipment until air-drop supplies are available pending the conclusion of OBJ VICTOR. Phantom has rearm, repair, refuel available at Sakums Air Base.
Medical
Medical support will be conducted in field (PAK in Field).
