Situation

Background Information
The Thundereers are preparing for an assault on the main airbase in the region. The Ilyrian armed forces have fortified the area and will not give it up without a tought fight. Taking the airfield will not be an easy feat, but should the thundereers acomplish it, this will be one of the final blows to the enemy in the region.

Friendly Forces
BISHOP Platoon supported by; - 2x LKOV Svarun (Patria AMV) in .50 cal configuration - 2x Patria in UT30 30MK2 + SPIKE LR configuration (Note, 1 of each per squad) - 1x TAM repair and recovery truck - 1x TAM flatbet logistical truck - 1x MRAP

Enemy Forces
Mechanized infantry with tank and air support.

Mission

Tasking
Primary objective is to sieze the Malye Kupstsy Airbase, secondary objective being to capture any villages or towns in the area.

End-state
Malye Kupstsy Airbase captured, enemy fled or surrendered.

Execution

Commander's Intent
Primary Objective: To complete our primary objective we are to assault and secure the nearby enemy airbase, along with destroying any enemy presence on route. Additional Objective: Defend and hold the captured airbase from potential enemy counterattack.

Tasks and Sequencing
_______________________________________________________________________________________________________ Phase-0: Our platoon will commence operation at the town of Zhukov where we will gear up, brief and move out to WP-1. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ Phase-1: From WP-1, the platoon will conduct a pincer assault on the town of Zaitsevo whereby Bishop 1 will assault from the north and Bishop 2 will assault from the east, along with their assigned Knight elements. Rook 4 is to hold at WP-1 and standby for tasking. Platoon will conduct rearm and repair at RV-Pluto if/when required. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ Phase-2: Our platoon will then proceed from Zaitsevo to WP-2 to assault the town of Shagrenevo with Bishop 1 assaulting on the northern side of the main road and bishop-2 on the south. Knight elements are to provide cover during approach and potentially provide BOF from the north of the town where multiple enemy defenses have been observed. Rook 4 is to hold at RV-Pluto and await tasking. Platoon will conduct rearm and repair at RV-Neptune if/when required. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ Phase-3: The platoon will commence their assault on the airfield from WP-3 where we will conduct another pincer assault on the primary compounds. Order of attack will be decided in field and dependent on situation. Platoon will conduct regroup, rearm and repair at RV-Saturn if/when required. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________

Administration/Logistics

Resupply
ROOK-4 is to handle the rearm, repair, refuel of the platoon along with the destruction of any enemy resource if able.

Medical
PAK in field is enabled so casualties are to be handled appropriately and potential MASCAS situations to be handled under the discretion of the FL.

Rules of Engagement
Any potential CPERS are to be handed to ROOK-4 to be handled appropriately.
