Situation

Background Information
Equipment and vehicles are being forwarded to the front in preparation for the next deployments. We will be conducting an armed escort on the last leg of the journey to Novy Lug Military Base. Although Estonian forces are maintaining their presence in the secured region, most of the area around the frontline is still contested. With skirmishes against the nationalists happening regularly, we are expecting them to be more aggressive in their disruptive operations.

Friendly Forces
Light Vehicle Section : 1 Lead Vehicle (Commander, Driver, Gunner) w/ attached Medic & Support Engineer 2 Combat Vehicles (Driver, Gunner) 3* M1240A1 (O-GKP/M2) Logistical Section : 4 Logistical vehicles (Drivers only) 2 * HEMMT loaded with M1045A2 1 * M1078 (4 wheels) 1 * M1084 (6 wheels)

Supporting Assets
US Army Rangers and Estonian Army operating within the area. Civilian presence is sparse but expected.

Enemy Forces
CHDKZ scouting and raiding elements are known to be active. Contacts may consist of light infantry and light vehicles.

Tasking
Transport all equipment and Vehicles to friendly base. Tasking priority : 1:Survival of all personnel and arrival at a friendly base 2:Delivery of vehicles to Novy Lug Military Base 3:Delivery of all supplies to Novy Lug Military Base

Delivery of all supplies to Novy Lug Military Base

Execution

Commander's Intent
The purpose of this mission is to escort vehicles and supplies in convoy from Balota airbase, in the South of the region, to Novy Lug Military Base in the North.

Tasks and Sequencing
The mission is planned as a straight drive from one point to another along the designated route. There is a single planned stop, marked as passage point A, where we will hold to communicate with friendly EOD elements in the area and ensure there are no planned detonations while we drive through. The drive is expected to take 45 minutes. Convoy order will be:- Hunter 1-1 Blacksmith 4 Blacksmith 4-1 Hunter 1 Actual Blacksmith 4-2 Blacksmith 4-3 Hunter 1-2 The entire route lies behind friendly lines. That said, due to the terrain it has proven impossible for friendly forces to completely prevent infiltration by enemy units. Therefore, we should be vigilant for signs of ambush and be ready to adapt to emerging situations. Our mission is not to seek nor engage enemy forces, and it may be necessary to make route adjustments to avoid threats to our cargo.
