Situation

Background Information
An airborne deployment operation has been issued to disrupt the hostile ammunition resupply capabilities by destroying the ammo caches in the north. An additional objective has been assigned to silence temporal communication in the north by neutralizing the communications assets.

Execution

Commander's Intent
First priority Keep the Ranger unit intact. We will be behind enemy lines if we are lost there will be very little assistance available Second priority Are mission is to locate three targets that we have rough positioning of and destroy this target's whit the explosives.

Tasks and Sequencing
We will be inserted via HALO (High Altitude, Low Opening) After laddning all squad members will regroup at RV1. In a case of unviability RV2 will be ordered as alternative. Phase 1 We will move to observational point 1 (OP1). There we will try to locate the position of the Comms Tower. Devise a plan to neutralize enemy combatants. And then use explosives to destroy it Phase 2 We move to waypoint 1 (WP2). And judge the viability of setting up an ambush for possible QRF. After completing which ever decision we make. We will go to waypoint 2 (WP2) and then to observational point 2 (OP2). There we will try to locate the position of the Ammo Cache. Devise a plan to neutralize enemy combatants. And then use explosives to destroy it. Phase 3 We will go to waypoint 3 (WP3) and then to observational point 3 (OP3). There we will try to locate the position of the Ammo Cache. Devise a plan to neutralize enemy combatants. And then use explosives to destroy it. Phase 4 Will retreat from any main source of possible QRF also likely groupings of Enemy companions. Then locate a viable position for landing zone for helicopter to extract us back to base. ENDEX
