Situation

Background Information
In Southern Argentina, around the Sanagasta Wildlife Reserve, a separatist Movement called the SFIA (Sanagastan Front for an Independent Argentina) has been forming over the past 10 years, initially only seen as a political party, it has now come under scrutiny after inciting a coup toward the standing government, as well as driving government agencies out of the Reserve. Their Leader, Ignazio Diaz, has declared the region and surounding Regions independent and is enforcing a curfew, as well as blocking borders to other municipalities, essentially creating a rogue State. NATO has formed a Task Force, called UNITAF, which is dispatched to capture or kill Ignazio Diaz from his presumed hiding place in the reserve, and has been stationed roughly 10km North of the Reserve in preparation.

Friendly Forces
ECHO, a Mechanized Infantry Platoon Consisting of: 1x Platoon Element manning an individual APC 3x Infantry Squads mounted in 3x Namer APCs with 40mm AGLs / 12.7 HMGs 1x SF Team tasked with a NAP Insert and Capture of Ignazio Diaz 1x VX-44 Blackfish attached to SF for CAS and Surveillance

Enemy Forces
Mostly outdated Weapons and Machinery, but is able to muster APCs and has known AA and MANPAD presence.

ECHO is tasked with attacking the SFIA-held territory from the North, while WHISKEY will INFIL behind enemy lines, sabotage Enemy AA and attempt to capture Ignazio Diaz HVT Picture:

End-state
-Ignazio Diaz Captured -SFIA driven from the Reserve / AO.

Execution

Commander's Intent
The intent is to clear the AA coverage so the blackfish X-Ray 5 can have unobstructed area of operation. And capture the HVT and then extract the element via ground to a secured location back at base.

Tasks and Sequencing
PHASE 0 Echo platoon will mount up assigned vehicles And move in convoy order towards Start of Phase 1 Convoy order Wil be: ECHO 1, ECHO 2 ,ECHO 9, PAPA 4 ,ARCLIGHT 4-1, ECHO 3 Actions on contact will be to push true to unless at the dismount marker. Then hold and dismount and engage the enemy WHISKEY 9 Wil mount a Ghost hawk flown by X-ray Toward LZ Alpha or ALZ Bravo. From there They will move on there own towards the AA installation to destroy these assets. PHASE 1 ECHO Platoon Will dismount and move to secure the first objective ECHO 1 Will assault the Guard Post ECHO 2 Will provide overwatch towards the Guard Post ECHO 3 Wil move to the East towards the town and Setup to clear the Hospital and Kindergarten ECHO 1 and ECHO 2 will do a joint attack on the Radar Station and the FOB ECHO 3 Will take the SFIA Plantation. PAPA 4 Wil provide a vehicle rearm/resupply point in the back line where the vehicles can move them self to to get rearm . WHISKEY 9 Should by this Phase line got enough distraction going on to move towards the AA installation. or moved to the secondary objective. PHASE 2 ECHO 1 Will provide main MSR security for PAPA 4 to bring supplies towards the Hospital and kindergarden. ECHO 2 Will provide overwatch and when ECHO 3 reached training grounds Wil move in and provide support for ECHO 3 From there a combine push towards SFIA Training grounds take it and secure it After don this We will do a Platoon wide rearm resupply on all Echo Elements WHISKEY 9 Will need to have taken the HVT by now and secured there building defending it until Echo has reached them PHASE 3 ECHO Wil do a platoon line with 200 meter spacing between each other moving forward sweeping the town of possible enemy combatants once the town is clear all elements will setup in there sector assigned when the log pack is being done. To engage the fortifications and find a point to breach in there sector. Once Echo 9 thinks the enemy has been softened up. the assault will commence where the main target is to clear the road of any enemy entrenched positions or defensive lines. so the SF Element can be extracted form the target location. Once pushed trough to the Defensive line ECHO 1 together with PAPA 4 and 1 ARCLIGHT 4-1 element will defended the road from intersection from any counter attack from the East as well from the north. ECHO 2 and ECHO 3 will move to provide security for the WHISKEY 9 to mount up with HVT Once all WHISKEY 9 has been mounted in ECHO 9 vehicle ECHO 3t will take up front position second element of ARCLIGHT 4-1 and ECHO 2 will be rear convoy once at position of ECHO 1 PAPA 4and ARCLIGHT 4-1 will join up behind ECHO 2 and rear guard will be ECHO 1 who closes the convoy. From here we go RTB and X-Ray will be RTB once passing Guard Post marker.

Administration/Logistics

Resupply
PAPA 4 Will provide a vehicle resupply point near each phase line as well as a vehicle for emergency infantry resupply or improvised repair. Secondary tasking: - Provide a humanitarian aid delivery towards the Kindergarden - Provide medical supply towards Hospital Primary Logpack should be provided in SFIA Training grounds marker

Medical
ARCLIGHT 4-1 Should provide a a CCP close to wards the main elements. And should split his assets in between two medical vehicles to provide better reaction towards the friendly casualties - Medical support will be conducted using supporting elements (PAK off Field)

Rules of Engagement
CPERS should be turned over to ECHO 9 for evacuation to the rear.

X-ray should be on call once they delivered WHISKEY 9 towards the LZ ROE for Air assets Do not engage near any buildings unless the lives of the SF team are in danger Do not engage the fortification until Echo is ready to assault the position All calls must go true WHISKEY Communication specialist Incase of downed Communication Specialist ECHO 8 Will need to clear any attack on red smoke
