--- OPERATIONS ORDER ---

Situation

Background Information
Thundering roar of F/A-18 Hornets will signal the start of Takistan's downfall. Ground based JTAC teams will coordinate precise air-strikes to completely and utterly destroy, disarm and decapitate Takistani military and logistical prowess in order to establish complete air supremacy over the region of Al-Rayak, in an effort to set the stage for an invasion of Takistan and cessation of all WMD activities in the region.

Friendly Forces
The strike group assigned to this mission consists of a flight of 2 F/A-18C Hornet CAP single-seat, callsign PHOENIX 5 , that are tasked with providing air protection and combat air patrol duties to protect the 6 F/A-18D two-seat multi-role jet fighters, tasked with CAS, against any and all air-to-air threats in the area, moving between sectors on a patrol pattern in an effort to maintain air supremacy in case of any enemy aircraft intercepting our air operations and air strikes in any of the 3 assigned sectors. Ground assets are composed of 3 teams (ADDER 1 , BADGER 2, FOX 3 ) of CIA SAD Paramilitary Operations Officers, led by a HQ element (CHECKMATE 9). Embedded in each team is an officer trained in Joint Terminal Attack Control whose main task will be to coordinate 2 F/A-18D aircraft assigned to each of the teams. Each team is expected to act on their own with CHECKMATE 9 coordinating them via BFT (Blue Force Tracker). Each of the 3 teams will be assigned their own sectors and sets of targets that they are expected to mark and designate for the 2 F/A-18D jet-fighters assigned to them.

Supporting Assets
The supporting assets in this mission will be USS Liberty, a Liberty-class cruiser destroyer as means of providing close air protection to the star of the fleet, USS Freedom (CVN-83), a Freedom-class nuclear powered aircraft carrier, that will serve as the main base of operations for all fixed wing assets, as well as the main logistics hub, rearming, refueling and resupplying all fixed wing assets as they need. Those logistics efforts will be coordinated through CASTLE 4 and will briefed to all FW callsigns prior to launch.

Enemy Forces
The enemy forces consist of various AAA and AA capable troops, including, but not limited too Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-21 jet fighter interceptors, Mikoyan MiG-29 air supremacy jet fighters, Aero L-159 ALCA light combat aircraft, Sukhoi Su-25 Grach jet fighters that are present in the Takistani National Air Force, alongside ZSU-23-4 Shilka SPAAGs, as well as 9K38 Igla MANPADS and SAM battery systems in use by the Takistani National Army. You are to maintain vigilance at all times, as their extensive AAA net and peer-to-peer jet fighters could pose a formidable threat should we get too comfortable.

Mission

Tasking
ALL CALLSIGNS will be briefed in detail on their missions, tasks and purposes in the field. What we can say, is, that the 3 JTAC teams will operate independently of one another, with each being assigned their set of objectives to complete autonomously in the field. Due to the high risk of enemy contact and the fact you will be operating deep behind enemy lines, you will be briefed in person to a much greater extent, in a safehouse before departing on your missions.

End-state
Once the JTAC teams conclude their BDA and confirm over 65% total destruction of objectives, you are to coordinate a rally effort and secure an LZ at the discretion of CHECKMATE 9 for EXFIL and ENDEX once you have returned to the carrier group.

Execution

Commander's Intent
Deploy SF teams throughout the AO in order to paint and facilitate the destruction of targets to effectively cripple insfrastructure

Tasks and Sequencing
Ground forces CHECKMATE 9 , ADDER 1 , BADGER 2 and WOLF 3 shall start in the AO at the marked CIA safehouse. From there each team will disperse in unmarked humvees to separate AOs where their comms specialists shall paint targets for air assets. Each team will be semi independent, tasked with marking targets and destroying at least 3/4 of their targets prior to extract. The order in which this is done and how it is undertaken is broadly the remit of each SF team leader. It is expected that after the first objectives are lit up ground forces shall begin hunting our SF teams. For this reason it is recommended teams attempt to target the hardest OBJ to get eyes on first. All teams should confirm with CHECKMATE 9 prior to launching their first payloads. Assuming local forces begin searching teams should attempt to avoid contact and/or work with CAS to avoid getting bogged down as there is minimal land based assistance available. Team AOs are shown below: Once at least 3/4 of objectives have been destroyed CHECKMATE 9 , ADDER 1 , BADGER 2 and WOLF 3 shall regroup for extract via rotary assets flown by CROSSROAD H and escorted by CAP to the USS Liberty Air forces PHOENIX 5, air wings and CASTLE 4 shall spawn on the USS Liberty of the south eastern coast of the AO. PHOENIX 5 shall assign air wings to a particular AO. Once kitted up these wings should proceed to the AO and check in with the respective Comms specialist. While outside the AO air wings should be in contact with the LSO. In the case of being shot down over sea pilots should mayday and CASTLE 4 shall attempt retrieval via a Sea stallion CH53. In the case of being shot down over land pilots should attempt to make contact with the closest SF team and link up. If you are unable to make contact attempt to make your way to the CIA safehouse and may the odds ever be in your favour.CASTLE 4 using the following deck plan Where LSO is running the red areas and the LSC is running the yellow areas.

Fire Support Plan
In accordance with SOP

Close Air Support
CAS is available on an AO specific basis, check command signals below. CAS gets 2 x Sidewinder AA, 2 x AMRAAM AA, 2 x AGM-84K IR, 2 X Paweway 2II - BLU-109 IR. CAP gets 6 x Sidewinder, 2 x AMRAAM

Command/Signal

Communications Plan
Callsign Primary Frequency Superior Frequency ACTUAL
CHECKMATE 9 40mHz 37mHz 1Lt Aiedail SF Commander (≤45)
ADDER 1 250mHz 40mHz MSG Crossy SF Team Leader (≤6)

Considerations
Succession of overall command is CHECKMATE 9 -> ADDER 1 -> BADGER 2 -> WOLF 3 CASTLE 4 is in overall command of the USS Liberty PHOENIX 5 has command authority for all air assets. Within a given wing the more senior pilot is in command. All ground SF command = 40 Adder AO Air Comms = 41 Badger AO Air Comms = 42 Wolf AO Air Comms = 43 Airframes <-> USS Liberty = 60 Additional channels for airframes will be briefed at STARTEX for use contacting the LSO etc.
