Situation

Background Information
NATO has made good progress in Southeast Altis, capturing Pyrgos just a few hours ago. However, regular CSAT artillery bombardment of captured areas makes sustained efforts on Altis difficult, and we risk losing tactical advantage of the frontlines should this continue. Counterbattery radars have located CSAT artillery to be in the vicinity of Vikos. Satellite imagery depicts a military presence in the area, but no artillery pieces are to be seen, which suggests that they are mobile and hidden away of sight when not in use. Additionally, 1-1,5 kilometres South-Southeast of Vikos, CSAT has newly deployed a Surface-to-Air Missile system which prevents any NATO air activities over the area. Satellite imagery shows that there are at least three SAM launchers placed in NAI006. This prevents NATO from gaining air superiority in the entire Southeast sector. This affects the frontlines near Pyrgos negatively, as they cannot enjoy Close Air Support nor Combat Air Patrol missions. As such, the SAM site needs to be destroyed for NATO to see further progress in and around Pyrgos. A special operations forces squad, codenamed Wolf, has been tasked to eliminate these artillery and SAM pieces and disrupt CSAT operations on the peninsula.

Supporting Assets
No friendly elements within the area of operations. NATO elements around Pyrgos have been tasked with stabilising the frontlines in order to prepare for potential counterattacks from CSAT. Artillery assets on standby at FOB Alpha. Air assets remain on standby until anti-air pieces have been dealt with.

Enemy Forces
The main CSAT forces south of Drimea consist of light infantry, some with specialised roles. Due to the mountainous nature of this peninsula, small arms and light vehicles pose the greatest threat, with only sporadic AT capabilities. An AA battery in NAI006 and NAI007 has been observed, and prevents any BLUFOR air activity in the area until destroyed. A presence of motorised and mechanised troops in Zaros could also provide a considerable threat should Wolf overstay their welcome. The AAC Airfield is also the home of a considerable airborne troops, which can be activated on short notice should they be alerted. Note that the road between Drimea and Agios Kosmas has been used regularly over the last few days by CSAT - purpose unknown.

Mission

Tasking
WOLF is tasked to destroy the artillery pieces in Vikos. Failure to achieve this will put sustained NATO activities in the area at risk. Additionally, WOLF is tasked to destroy the AA emplacements south of Vikos to enable NATO air activities. Secondarily, WOLF may want to consider raiding other military locations on the peninsula to further disrupt CSAT activities. End-state
The desired end-state sees CSAT artillery and anti-air capabilities south of Drimea destroyed, which allows for sustained NATO operations around Pyrgos and air superiority over the southeast sector of Altis.

Execution

Commander's Intent
Commanders intent is to achieve two primary objectives with one optional secondary objective: Primary 1. DESTROY Eliminate the mobile artillery pieces operating out of CSAT FOB 2. DESTROY enemy AA emplacements on mountaintops to allow aerial control over peninsula Secondary 1. Recover intel from enemy positions about possible movements on mainland, and further assets on peninsula for CAS Stealth should be maintained as long as possible, ideally until detonation of the charges. Light/LASER discipline is absolutely crucial to the success of the mission.

Tasks and Sequencing
Mission is broken down into 4 phases: Infil, Rig Artillery, Rig AA, Sweep & Exfil. PHASE 0 WOLF 1 will infil from staging area in SDVs by buddy team, towards the landing area, WP-2 via WP-1. From there they will make their way off beach to the stash already placed by special logistical team, and go into ARD in order to ensure they have not been seen. PHASE 1 Moving North-West, WOLF 1 will move to OP-1, near the FOB in NAI-002, identify the positions of the mobile artillery, and move in to rig charges. From there, they will extract back to the established OP-1. PHASE 2 Moving South-West WOLF 1 will move to OP-2 to observe the AA positions in NAI-006 and NAI-007 and identify an approach. The team will maneuver towards their target, plant charges, search for intel if possible, and leave via the established OP-2. PHASE 3 Whether stealth is still maintained or not, WOLF 1 will then sweep any notable positions such as the Listening Station if possible, and exfil via the stash site, picking up scuba gear and ex-filtrating the AO via the SDVs left underwater. When safe, charges can be detonated, allowing full CAS from friendly air assets on any targets in the peninsula. Throughout the mission WATCHMAN will be providing local sat-intel over the team and main entry points. Administration/Logistics

Resupply
ALL CALLSIGNS will cross the LD fully loaded according to the units SOP. These supplies will come from the staging area. This basic load is expected to sustain the team throughout the mission, without support.

Medical
- Medical support will be conducted in field (PAK in Field)

Rules of Engagement
CPERS should be bound, gagged, bagged, separated, and left in a secure location. We do not have the facility to recover CPERS.
