Situation

Background Information
The area around Stary and Novy Sobor has recently been subject to riots and general public unrest. Many fear that another Nationalist uprising is around the corner. A Motorized infantry squad from the Sakums Airbase is conducting a routine presence patrol in the towns.

Friendly Forces
Motorized infantry squad supported by 2x MRAP and 1x HMMW.

Supporting Assets
There are no other BLUFOR forces in the AO. High possibility of both armed and unarmed civilian presence in the area.

Enemy Forces
Unknown.

Mission

Tasking
Conducting a routine presence patrol from Sakums Airbase through the town of Kabanino into Stary and Novy Sobor.

End-state
Once the squad has been satisfied that the situation in Stary and Novy Sobor is under control they will return to Sakums Airbase for ENDEX.

Execution

Commander's Intent
The purpose of this mission is to conduct a presence patrol around the towns of Stary and Novy Sobor.

Tasks and Sequencing
Between towns we will move in convoy order Knight 2-1, Bishop 1, then Knight 2-2. Bishop 1-1 will mount up on Knight 2-1, while Bishop 1-2 will mount up on Knight 2-2. Once in a town, we will proceed to patrol the area, with Bishop 1-1 and Knight 2-1 being responsible for the northern side of the MSR and Bishop 1-2 and Knight 2-2 being responsible for the southern side. While patroling, do NOT enter houses, unless hostile forces are expected inside.

Administration/Logistics

Resupply
All resupplies will be handled from the inventory of Knight callsigns.

Medical
PAKs will be provided in Bishop 1's vehicle.

Rules of Engagement
EPWs will be handled by Bishop 1.
